A component of the Office of the Dean of Students, the Judicial Affairs and Ethical Development program is intended to help manage student conduct.  For example, we:

  • Define expectations for student behavior in accordance with the University’s unique values and mission,
  • Encourage students to make choices that are compatible with these values,
  • Coordinate the confrontation of behaviors inconsistent with these values;
  • Identify and exploit opportunities to promote development of ethical reasoning, accountability and responsibility amongst students.

What does that mean?  We make rules and hold folks to them.
