Mission of the CUA Parents' Council

The Parents' Council, through partnerships with the CUA Administration, supports the development of an environment conducive to student success both at the University and in life.  The environment we seek to foster will address the needs of present and future students.  In the pursuit of supporting this environment, we will represent the interests of parents and students to the Administration, and convey the work of the CUA Community to parents.  As we work to accomplish our goals, the Parents’ Council will provide our support to the University through the Office of the Dean of Students.

Student Employment Opportunities through the CUA Office of Career Services

The CUA Parents’ Council supports the Office of Career Services through the collection of information on internships, summer jobs and post graduation employment opportunities.  By soliciting such information from parents of our students we augment other Career Services initiatives to bring such opportunities to our students both in the metropolitan Washington area and in our hometowns.  By following the link below, you can provide information on internships, summer jobs, and post graduation employment opportunities directly to the Office of Career Services.  There is no obligation or other commitment by you or the potential employer.  With your permission, staff from the Office of Career Services may be in contact with you to develop any other information that may be needed to adequately identify these opportunities to our students.
